Renfro Foods Announces 70th Anniversary Recipe Contest
Winning recipe will land on a Mrs. Renfro's label
FORT WORTH, Texas, March 1, 2010 - Renfro Foods wants your recipes! To celebrate
its 70th anniversary, the salsa manufacturer is holding its first-ever recipe contest.
Entrants are asked to submit original recipes for judging through the company's
website and by mail. The winning recipes will land on a Mrs. Renfro's specialty
salsa label and be featured on Renfro Foods' online recipe page.
"To celebrate 70 years of business, we're inviting everyone to get those creative
juices flowing and to send in an original recipe using one of our 29 Mrs. Renfro's
products," said Doug Renfro, president of Renfro Foods. "Salsa lovers in general,
and our fans in particular, are a passionate bunch and we thought it would be great
fun to see what recipes they come up with using our products."
The recipe contest begins March 1, 2010, and ends July 15. Information about the

The Grand Prize winners will receive a year's supply of Mrs. Renfro's gourmet salsa
and have their winning recipe on a specialty salsa label, among other prizes. Finalists
will receive a limited edition Mrs. Renfro's polo shirt. The first 100 online entrants
and first 40 by-mail entrants will receive a limited edition Mrs. Renfro's t-shirt.
