Texas Tavern Salsa Chicken



  • Place chicken in slow cooker
  • Pour salsa over chicken
  • Cook on HIGH, 4 hours
  • Shred chicken and add back to slow cooker to absorb more liquid (about 10 minutes)
  • Prepare bread of choice, bun, tortillas, etc.
  • Top bread with shredded chicken, avocado, queso fresco and cabbage.
