FORT WORTH, Texas – May 19, 2025 – The Specialty Foods Association (SFA) today announced that it will honor Renfro Foods President Doug Renfro and Senior Vice President Becky Renfro Borbolla with its 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award. An awards ceremony honoring Renfro, Renfro Borbolla and others will be held at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City on June 30, 2025.

The SFA Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates individuals who have grown the food and beverage industry, improved the Association, inspired companies and nurtured individuals over long careers in specialty food. Honorees are selected each year by the SFA Recognition Council from past SFA Hall of Fame inductees. Renfro was selected to join the Hall of Fame in 2018; Renfro Borbolla was honored in 2022.

Renfro and Renfro Borbolla are third-generation leaders in the privately owned family company that makes and sells Mrs. Renfro’s salsa and condiments. Along with Senior Vice President James Renfro, these Renfro cousins have grown Renfro Foods into an internationally recognized brand while honoring its Texas roots and legacy. 

Both are longtime, passionate members of the Specialty Food Association, with Renfro Foods having joined the association more than 30 years ago. Renfro Borbolla is a past chair of the board of directors (twice) and a leader within several committees. Renfro regularly shares his experience through SFA panels, classes and events.
