Green Jalapeño Salsa

This is the hottest, most delicious jalapeno salsa we can find. Sorry, don't really like those other hot peppers. Try it on a Cita sandwich: Grilled bacon cheese and chili. The recipe is from the Staab House, La Posada Inn, Santa Fe.

I’ve was introduced to this salsa about 15 years ago and it is always my go-to when making shredded beef or pork tacos and guacamole. There is always a jar in the fridge and at least two extra in the pantry.

I’d rate Mrs Renfro’s Green Salsa ten stars if i could. I have to buy this salsa 4-6 jars at a time to make sure we don’t run out at home. Great chilled with chips, used as a taco sauce, as an ingredient to upgrade recipes and even of eggs. It’s been a staple of ours for decades. Still as good as when I first tried it in the 1990s.

Easiest chicken dinner recipe, one jar of green jalapeño salsa, 2 large chicken breast (or 3-4 medium), 8oz of chicken broth. That’s it!! Place in crockpot for 2-4 hours depending on heat and you’re done! The house smells so good afterwards! Enjoy with tortillas, rice, or whatever your heart desires. Love this stuff and cannot get enough!
